Adolfo Peralta (b. 1996) is a Dominican-American painter and animator. His practice employs the language of these long-established mediums to explore the complexities of his identity and lived experiences as a queer Latino individual. Through this multidisciplinary approach, he uses nature and the body as narrative tools to capture the fleeting, mundane, and oftentimes overlooked textures of life, to build a visual language where the physical and metaphysical converge. His works function as a visual journal which draws from 3D rendered environments, photography, and memory. He creates a personal record of his existence, tracing the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the human experience.

Adolfo Peralta received his BFA in Painting and a BA in Digital Media from Rhode Island College. His was part of the 2023-2024 WaterFire Accelerate Cohort, a year-long professional development program for emerging artists which concluded with a group exhibition at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. His work has also been exhibited in the Providence Art Club, Rhode Island College (RIC), and the University of Rhode Island (URI).
